Agnes Rose Leister was born June 11, 1943 to the late Harry Gettier and Anna Gettier (Nee Hunt). Agnes was an animal lover, and has had many pets including her Dotson "Poo" and her Cat "Stinker". She was also very creative and enjoyed her arts and crafts.
On November 22, 2017 Agnes Rose Leister (nee Gettier) passed away at age 74. Agnes was the beloved wife of Kirk M. Leister who have celebrated 57 years of marriage; Devoted mother of Kirk D. Leister Sr. and his wife Jackie, Harry J. Leister and his wife Brenda, Kathlene Sears and her husband Taz; Loving grandmother of Kirk D. Leister Jr., Jessica A.Smith (Leister) and husband Jimmy Sr., Joey, Brandon and Brianna Leister, Madison and Matthew Sears; Dear Great grandmother of Jimmy Smith Jr.; and Cherished sister of Shirley Akers and the late Barbara Meyers, and Robert Gettier.
Friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Monday November 27th from 11am to 1pm. Services at 1pm followed by interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
