King, Adelaide E.
On August 4, 2019, Adelaide E. King, long time resident of Pasadena, passed away at age 88. A devout Catholic, Miss King was a member of St. Jane Frances Church and of the Sodality of the Blessed Mother. She worked for 30 year for McCormick and Company. Adelaide loved to walk to keep in shape, and mowed her own lawn until she was 80 years old! Line dancing and bingo were a few of her favorite pastimes. Although she never married, she had an abundance of loving family. Miss King was the beloved daughter of the late Elmer and Elizabeth King ; devoted sister of Ruth Persinger ; cherished aunt of Larry Rippetoe Jr. and his wife Brenda, John Biderman and his wife Tina and the late Tom Rippetoe ; loving great aunt of Cindy, Amy, Dana, Amber, Dale, John, Christopher, Travon, Jenn, Toni and George; dear great great aunt of Mason, Aiden, Ryan, Marcel, Raelyn, Zaelyn, Courtney, Brooke, Hunter, Cayden, and Collin.
Family and friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 169 Riviera Drive, on Wednesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jane Frances Church on Thursday at 10am. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
