Bernard Gaynor Obituary

Gaynor, Bernard W.

Bernard “Will” Gaynor ,

Dear Father of 4 daughters; Cathy Holbrook and husband Kurt, Dee Chernicky and husband Wayne, Beth Bitler and husband Kevin, Jen Aierstock and husband Jacob. Admired and loved Grandfather of Chuck Purcell and Emily, Keith Zelinski and Rachel, Jonathan Williams and Elizabeth, Lauren Collins and Eric, Mitchell Goldstein, Zac Holbrook, Cormac Holbrook and Madison Aierstock . Beloved Partner of Rose Tiesi and her loving family Kelley Key, husband Shawn, their children, and the late Brian Tiesi , and Great Grandfather to 7. He was proceeded in death by his Mother, Mable Gaynor and Father James Gaynor, Brothers Pat and Ed and his sister Mary.

He was proudly born and raised in “Pigtown” (Baltimore) Maryland. Was a part of the Irish community, as his Grandparents immigrated from Ireland and worked on the B&O railroad and lived on Lemmon St. Was driving a truck for Dignan as a teenager and worked as a Teamster for 27 years. He would move on and become an elevator mechanic with the IUEC Local 7 Union, a job he loved and co workers that were respected family and friends. He raised his daughters in Brooklyn Park . Was their softball coach , “Brooklyn Park All Stars“ that would play all through the community competitively . His love for photography would have him well known for his pictures of sports teams, weddings and proms.

He was an avid sports fan of the Baltimore Colts, Orioles, Ravens and Golf. What he loved the most was his large gatherings of family to travel, have dinner at Sabatinos and any celebration! He continued that love of travel and family the last 20 years with Rose . No matter where the family lived he found a way to have us gather.
