Mom, I miss you already.
You have left our earthly plane but you will never be forgotten.
The unconditional love you blessed your sons with was never wavering or in doubt.
I love you Mom.
I know I disappointed you sometimes through the years, as I am far from perfect… not the perfect son, not the perfect husband, not the perfect father, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I was made better because of you were my mother.
I regret not being with you more, not calling enough, not saying I love you enough… but I know you knew how I felt nonetheless. Truth is that words would fall woefully short in expressing how deeply I loved you… and will continue to love you for the rest of my days.
You touched so many lives through the years, and I am confident that the overwhelming majority would say they were made better having known you… that their lives were enhanced to be sure.
We all hope that we make the world a better place while we are here. You definitely accomplished that and so much more.
Memories, that’s what we have left. These memories will keep you in our hearts and minds forever. These memories will be shared again and again. Some will bring laughter, some will bring tears, but either way, these memories will sustain us.
I know you are in a better place and that someday we will be reunited… so until then…
Mom, I miss you so very much…
Mom, I love you so very much…
And I will think of you every day, sharing memories and stories to anyone who will listen. Because I want everyone know what a great mother I had… they deserve to know how truly lucky I was.
Not goodbye, but so long…

Mom There are no words to say that can express the loss I feel now. You tried so hard to stay with us, but God had other plans for you. So you rest now and know that you will never leave my thoughts, and that you will be loved and dearly missed until I see you again. The love I have for you will always be with me. I love you more than I can ever express. Forever Heartbroken Your Loving Son Rick
