Person, Penny S., age 101, of Edgewater Florida, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Wayne County, North Carolina to Giles and Sarah Baker Smith in 1915, Mrs. Person came to this area in 2002 from Glen Burnie, Maryland. She was a retired utilities clerk and a former member of Chesapeake Baptist Church in Glen Burnie. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, traveling and dancing. On her 100th birthday, a party was thrown in her honor, entertaining 100 people.
Survivors include her two daughters, Dora Jane(George) Bielut of Edgewater and Anita S. Peel of Goldsboro, North Carolina; Also survived by Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren; Great-Great grandchildren ; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
