     On July 26, 2016 Patrick Jesse Coughlin Deacon Order of O.S.S.D.. Beloved husband for 38 years to June Coughlin. Dear father of Dawn George and her husband Henry, and Deanna Kluczynski and her husband Julius. Cherished grandfather of Krystal Smith, Kerri and Kaitlyn George and Patrick Jesse Kluczynski. Dearest son of the late Eugene and Ethel (Gischel) Coughlin. Loving brother of Michael Coughlin (Mike) and Kathleen Hubbard (Kathy) and her husband Ed. Also survived by other relatives and many friends.

     Patrick was born on August 20, 1954 in Baltimore, Md.. Patrick attended Brooklyn Park High School where he graduated in 1972. He was a Volunteer Fireman, played base fiddle and trombone in the school band, played Mr. Bumble in Oliver and Santa Claus during the Holiday Season. He was also a member of the Explorers Club. After graduation, he worked at Gischel Machine Shop and  Koppers Company, Shaft seal Division. In 1977, Patrick was a Member of the Mid-Atlantic Van Club where he and June met.

     In 1991, He joined the staff of Yellow Transportation Company-Veolia and in 1993 he was promoted to General Manager, where he continued to work until 2007.

     He became a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Curtis Bay where he studied and was ordained as a Deacon. When Pastor Strachan retired, Patrick filled in as interim Pastor for 2 years. He was in the church choir and sang as a soloist at weddings and funerals. He was in charge of the food pantry at St. Pauls Church where each month he served upwards of 200 families. This is something that he loved dearly. He loved all animals and always had one with him. He also enjoyed working with his hands building small items around the house and model airplanes. He handmade jewelry. Loved to travel, read, cook and was an avid Baltimore Colts, Orioles and Ravens Fan. He sang with the Sons of the Severn Barbershop Chorus.

     The thing he cherished the most was his family and spending time with all of them together.

     The family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned GONCE FUNERAL SERVICE P. A. 4001 Ritchie Hwy. on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Further visitation will be held in St. John Lutheran Church (Memorial Parlour) 3rd and Washburn Ave. on Monday from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at which time Funeral Services will be held. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church 3909 Pennington Ave.  Curtis Bay, MD 21226.
