On August 25, 2016 Lavon Marie Murphy, a lifetime resident of Baltimore, passed away at age 72. She was the former wife of the late Charles J. Murphy; devoted mother of Walter Watson, Mary Seymour and her husband Glenn, and Robert Murphy; loving grandmother of Lavon Lewis and husband Steve, Valerie Walls and Karen Walls; also blessed with great grandchildren Stevie, Rayne and Samaiya.
Mrs. Murphy was a terrific cook and cake baker, and her banana pudding was especially delicious. She also enjoyed travelling to Charlestown and Harrington to play the slots.
A graveside service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park on Tuesday August 30, at 10 am. Please leave condolences at this website.
