John (Skip) W. Coleman Jr. passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, MD on Friday, the 22nd of September, 2017. Born February 29th, 1964, he attended Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA. He went on to attend Northern Virginia Community College and Florida Institute of Technology. John enjoyed boating, fishing and camping. He loved and cherished his family. Most important to him was his faith in Christ and the support and love from his church family.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Coleman and his parents John and Barbara Coleman. He is survived by his son, Timothy Coleman and two sisters Margaret Coleman and Sally McGee, brother-in-law John McGee, nieces Kerry Clark and Lauren McGee, and nephew Benjamin McGee.
A Memorial Service will be held at Brooklyn Bible Chapel, 502 Jack St., Baltimore, MD 21225 on Sunday, October 1st at 2:30pm. The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Brooklyn Bible Chapel where John belonged, to be used for outreach and ministry to others.
