On August 31, Michele was the beloved wife of the late John Smith III. Loving daughter of Janie and Donald Aten and birth father Carl Sherman. Devoted mother to Danielle Bowers and Janie Helmick. Dear grandmother of Olivia Bowers and Skylar Martin. Cherished Sister of Rhonda Kaiser and husband Paul, Tammy Stein and husband Patrick, Carla Benedict, Diana Kopp, Danny Aten and the late Donald "Bobby" Aten.
Michele was an avid Ravens fan who enjoyed trips to Ocean City and having her nails done. Her dog "Raven" was her dearest companion but most precious to her were her two girls whom she loved with all her heart.
Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Wednesday from 11 to 1pm. Service Wednesday at 1 pm. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery
