DENTON, ANNIE

    On December 7, 2016 Annie Denton passed away at age 83. A coalminer's daughter, she was raised in Virginia, but spent all her adult life as a resident of Baltimore. Mrs. Denton was married to her beloved husband, the late John W. Denton for over 50 years and was described by her daughters as a feisty, funny, fabulous, strong willed woman, who loved to spend Saturdays shopping and lunching with her daughters at Walmart and Costco. She truly loved her four girls and their families! A devout Christian, Mrs. Denton was a 60 year member of the Brooklyn Church of God, and spent much of her time volunteering there.

   Annie Denton was the Beloved wife of the late John W. Denton; Devoted mother of Cathy Morgan, Sandra Hebb, Uganda Mirabella and Velma Denton-Dietz; Dear mother in law of Bert Hebb, David Mirabella and Keith Dietz Sr.   She was predeceased by her cherished grandson John boy, and was the Loving granny of Stacy, Allan, Paul, Keith Jr., Destiny and Mo; Great granny to PeeWee Al, Phil, Ethan, Jonathan and Owen ; Dear sister of Bertha, Walt, Joe, Mary, Helen, Cindy, Charlie, and the late John, Mikie and Jack.

   Friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service on Saturday at 11 am. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
