On July 16, 2016 Our dear loved one, Alma Rodriguez Wright passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She blessed us with 76 years and 187 days. Alma was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, and former owner of Gold World, a gold and silver business at Cross Street Market in Baltimore. She retired from McDonalds in 2005 where she had worked for 15 years as a drive through cashier, a job she truly enjoyed. Alma loved to travel the country with her family on vacation and was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan. A selfless loving person, she was always there for her family.
Alma was the beloved wife of 55 years to Thomas Wright; devoted mother of Lisa McHale, Thomas Wright II and Sheila Carter; cherished daughter of Charlotte and the late Theodore Rodriguez; dear sister of Theodore Rodriguez Jr. and Robert Rodriguez; mother in law of Stephen McHale, Donna Henn and Mike Carter; loving grandmother of Jeffrey, Emily, Sarah, Patrick, Faith, Savannah, Laci, Jeremiah, Walt and Dalton and was also blessed with great grandchildren Vincent, Isaac, Gracen, Alexis, Jemma and Zoey.
We would like to invite everyone to come join us in paying respect, celebrating her life, and praising Jesus for bringing her to Paradise. Friends may visit at Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am followed by interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
